Phu Phra Bat: Thailand's Hidden Gem Nominated for UNESCO World Heritage Status

Phu Phra Bat Historical Park, located in the northeastern province of Udon Thani, Thailand, is a site of immense historical, cultural, and natural significance. 

The park is named after the legend of Phra Bat, or the Buddha's footprint, which is said to be imprinted on one of the park's rock formations.

The park covers an area of approximately 1,200 acres and is situated on a sandstone mountain range. 

Phu Phra Bat Historical Park is home to numerous ancient structures. These include stone buildings, shrines, and stupas, many of which date back to the Dvaravati period (6th to 11th centuries)

As the nomination process progresses, it is crucial to support efforts to protect and promote this remarkable site
