Olympic Women’s Football Brazil Triumphs Over Spain to Set Up Final Against USA

In a semi-final clash that was as entertaining as it was chaotic, Brazil emerged victorious over Spain with a 4-2 scoreline.

The game got off to a disastrous start for Spain when a backpass to goalkeeper Cata Coll went horribly wrong.

Spain managed to pull one back when Salma Paralluelo headed home from a corner, However Brazil's superior quality shone through once more.

In the other semi-final, the USA faced a determined Germany side where the USA women came 1-0 victorious

The deadlock was finally broken in extra time by USA's Sophia Smith, who has been a standout performer in the tournament.
