The hacker, ‘xenZen’, who allegedly posted the data on BreachForums, claimed responsibility for the breach and asserted that the dataset included comprehensive details such as names, family information, contact details, Aadhaar numbers, and more.
Additionally, ‘xenZen’ claimed to have previously sold data from the Ministry of External Affairs’ Diplomatic Passport holders database. The authenticity of these claims, however, remains unverified.

In 2021, cybersecurity researcher Rajshekhar Rajaharia reported that details of over 2.5 million Airtel subscribers were uploaded on a website by a threat actor called ‘Red Rabbit Team’.
