Malala Day honors the inspiring journey and contributions of Malala Yousafzai in advocating for girls' education

Malala Yousafzai was born on July 12, 1997, in Pakistan. She was a vocal advocate for girls' education in her community, which was under oppressive rule of  Taliban

Taliban had banned girls from attending school, but Malala defied this decree & continued to speak out against injustice

Malala continued her education in UK. She become a global advocate for girls' education. In 2014, at the age of 17, Malala became youngest-ever recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize.

Malala's autobiography, "I Am Malala: The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban," has inspired countless individuals worldwide
